Micro
I broke out the new Micron 005 pens that I bought a week or so ago. And after taking off my glasses (I am near-sighted) to get up real close, I came up with just one of many tiny drawings. I'll publish the full page when I've filled it.

Lately Update
An image of the filled page. Nothing fancy, just a bunch of messing around with colors and shapes (apple tree, spaceman, etc...).

Lately
I've been doodling and/or out & out drawing every day since my last post. Since most of it has been in my daily journal I haven't been posting photos. Here is a small piece of what will be a full page of swirls. The photo came out a bit fuzzy (the camera batteries were on their last legs), but I think it looks like an abstract face yelling. I've been drawing in this style a lot lately, and it seems to be my default doodle mode these days.

Collage
The sun was coming in the window and I had the urge to do something creative. I got a few good stark shots of the white painted wood of my above-the-sink shelves, but this one is my favorite:
It is a tiny brass statuette of an Indian goddess (bought on Nantucket in an imported curio store on a whim years ago), a piece of marine shell (found on an Atlantic beach decades ago), and my new brown leather wallet as background. It was obviously staged, but I enjoy the juxtaposition of the exotic and mundane, the limited color palette, and the super-close range.

Eh?
I've been doing little sketches of various things (Twip, Cobalt Thunder, womens' faces, etc...) almost daily. Nothing fancy, but I am keeping busy.
