Drawn earlier today on 11"x14" Strathmore 60 lb recycled sketch paper, with marker & colored pencil. Good ol' double-sticked frozen orange juice dude!

Whither Hast Thou Been?
I've been sick the last week (pounding headache and other issues), so I haven't done much except read, eat fruit, drink tons of water, and sleep. I have been sketching a character named 'Cobalt Thunder' though...

Sunshine and Glass
The sun was coming in my window through a glass of water and I had to capture the image. ☼ Sunshine always makes me feel upbeat and happy...

New Ideas
One of my biggest problems is follow-through. I come up with ideas that I think could have some legs, and then after a burst of activity, they lay fallow and undeveloped. For example: I haven't done anything in ages with "The Scatterbunnies" (see last fall), and "Tales From The Winterstar Galaxy" went nowhere fast.
Here are preliminary sketches for an idea about talking ice cream treats: Doug Bar, an average everyday fudge-on-a-stick, and Mel T. Kohn, an ice cream cone of Jewish heritage. My goal this week is to do some real work on this idea. I drew the image on the right while watching The Food Network, and the two on the left in my daily journal before I went to bed last night. Color work to follow!

Sketching Every Day
Self-explanatory. I'll take photos sometime over the next few days when I build up a pile. It's good to be inspired enough to scribble on a daily basis again.
